As one of the preeminent nutrition practitioners in the Denver-area focused on family nutrition, my emphasis is on fertility, pregnancy, post-partum and feeding growing children.
My undergraduate education is a Bachelor of Arts from Drake University. After ten fun years in the marketing world, I changed careers and pursued studies in the Master of Nutrition Therapy program at the Nutrition Therapy Institute. As a graduate of this renowned program, I became a Certified Nutrition Therapist (CNT). I have been offering personalized nutrition services to individuals, children, families, non-profits and corporations since 2005.
My wellness philosophy is holistic and realistic; by developing and teaching education-based nutrition programs, I strive to change the way people view their bodies and encourage them to live healthier lives. My unique relationship-based approach to counseling focuses on the specific beliefs and skills necessary to making lasting changes.
In addition to having Hashimoto’s thyroid disease and Celiac disease, I have also suffered three miscarriages before becoming a mother to my two children. I have a personal understanding of what nutritional approaches best assist with fertility, pregnancy and the post-partum period. The nutritional wisdom I have accumulated is from my own journey, as well as acquired from my beloved clients.
I am a Colorado native and I love all the outdoors has to offer in this beautiful state! In addition to spending time with my husband and two great kids, I love to practice yoga (I am also a registered yoga teacher), hike, run, ride my bike, cook, entertain and travel!
